Return Policy

We aim to please, so if you're not completely pleased with your order, we'll do whatever we can to make it better!

Read our policy below, follow the steps for the type of transaction you want to make, and remember, you can always contact us with any additional order or product-related questions or issues!

 

If you didn’t love your purchase, we are happy to exchange them for a store credit or issue you a full refund for orders within 30 days of delivery. We just ask that the items are in new, unworn condition with the tags still attached, otherwise we cannot accept your return. . Returns made within 30 days of the order delivery date will be issued a full refund to the original form of payment. Returns made after 30 days of the order delivery date will be refunded via store credit.

RETURNS

What is your return policy?

  • All returns packages must be received back at our headquarters within 30 days* of the date your order was received. (That is the day your item was marked as delivered from the carrier.)
  • Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after arriving back at our Headquarters.
  • Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method or in the form of store credit. We are unable to switch refunds to a new or different payment method other than what was originally used on your order.
  • Shipping is non-refundable, except in cases where we have made a shipping error.
  • If an item you requested an exchange for is out of stock, you will be credited back to your original pay method
  • Once we receive your return, your replacement item will be shipped to you. If you'd like your replacement item(s) right away or would like to make an exchange for a different item, you may go ahead and place a new order. Once we receive the item you'd like to exchange it for, we will process it as a return.

How do I start a return?

To initiate a Return please follow the instructions below:

    1. Request a return through our return portal by clicking HERE. We'll need your order # and the email address used to place the order. Please follow the steps about the items condition and reason for the return. We’ll respond within 48-hours to your request.
    2. Ship back the item with a pre-paid label. You'll have the option to purchase a printable pre-paid flat rate USPS return label from us or you can use a shipping provider of your choice. Please mail the package back within 1-week of receipt of instructions to be eligible for a full refund, otherwise it will be store credit.
    3. Wrap the item securely in a package or re-use our original packaging to save on waste (yes!). Apply our pre-paid USPS label (or your own) and mail it back to us.
    4. Receipt of your return. Our pre-paid labels from USPS have tracking and insurance, so you'll be able to track your return online at www.usps.com. Once it's received in our studio and inspected, we'll refund your item or order to your original payment method on file excluding any outbound ship fees which are non-refundable and, if applicable, your pre-paid return label fee.
  1. As we're a small batch fashion company, cycling our inventory is crucial. Any returns sent beyond 7 days of receipt of the return email will be store credit only. Any returns sent beyond 3 weeks of this email will be non-returnable and will be sent back to the customer at their expense.

Do you offer free shipping on returns and exchanges?

At the moment, we do not cover the cost of shipping on returns and exchanges.

How do I return or exchange an order from within the U.S.?

Place your item(s) in unworn condition and the order invoice in a securely sealed shipping package.

Specify whether this is a Return or Exchange. (If this is an exchange please specify which size you would like.)

Enter a Reason Code using the options listed under Return Reason Codes.

Place your Return Authorization Sheet and invoice, along with the item(s) in unworn condition in a securely sealed package.

How do I return or exchange an order from outside the U.S.?

(Please note that we currently do not offer international exchanges.) As long as your items are eligible for return and fall within the 60-day international returns window, follow these easy steps:

Start a return HERE. Orders eligible for return will have a Request Return option. Fill out the Request a Return or Exchange form.

Send your package back to us via your shipping method of choice. Be sure to use a method that provides a tracking number so you can follow its journey!

  • Returns received after 30 days of the original order shipment date (you may still be eligible for store credit if the return is received after 30 days as long as the item is not final sale. Late returns may also be subject to a 50% restocking fee.)
  • Returns received in damaged or worn condition
  • Free gifts
  • Gift cards
  • Items purchased through a third party
  • Items that are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

EXCHANGES

Do you offer exchanges?

•We only offer exchanges for the same item in a different size or color.

•If an item you requested an exchange for is out of stock, you will be credited back to your original pay method

Can I exchange a gift?

Yes! You can exchange your gift for a store credit, or a complete refund which will be transferred back to the original payment. If you wish to exchange your gift for a more expensive item, we will issue you a gift card, so you can pick out your perfect gift.

Can I exchange for store credit?

Yes you can! Unless it was a final sale item, has all of its original tags and is in good condition we can always offer store credit for exchanges.

ORDER ISSUES

Where's my stuff?

if you can't find a package, please allow 24 and up to 48 hours to allow tracking code to go live. If the the package says it has been delivered but you have not received your package, please reach out to us but in the meantime check with your neighbors or local post office.

What if my item is damaged or defective?

If your item was received defective or damaged, we're very sorry about that. We can send a prepaid shipping label to the account associated with the order, and exchange or refund you.

Help! I didn’t get what I ordered.

It is very rare we send you the wrong products or that you are missing something in your order, but it can happen. If you find you are missing an item or have been sent the wrong product, please email us at hello@veganscene.com and we will take care of it.
